Thought about having some older trees removed, wasn’t sure who to call. Rent-A-Monkey guys were in the neighborhood servicing other trees, husband wandered over and was impressed by their safety, friendliness, their clean up, speed. Their owner, Gregg, approached my husband. They chatted and worked a deal to remove 5 trees that same day! Everyone was friendly, respectful of property and quick. Entwined power lines didn’t even stop them! Call these guys, cuz who doesn’t need monkeys in their trees!?!

Unbelievable!! Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE!!! Scott came out gave a quote, talked everything out. Once the appointment was made Scott even followed up with us. Emily in the office was excellent with communication. When the guys got here, they were the most professional team I have ever seen. They were all on time, fast, clean, communicated clearly what was being done and what to expect. I have never seen a group of guys work so hard as a true team and professional. Now about the pricing, this was a HUGE job. Rent a monkey was still thousands of dollars cheaper than the independent contractors we got quotes from. The money we saved from big company quotes, we can actually take our family to Disney on what we saved. Time, setup, cut, clean up, 3 hours. I can't praise them enough. THANK YOU!!!!!

The best tree service I have ever used! The guys from Rent-A-Monkey showed up early and started prepping everything before the crane arrived. Once the crane arrived, also early, they immediately went to work and had both trees removed. Once finished, their clean up job was the best I've experienced with a tree service. Would recommend them to anyone needing tree work. And just to note, the trees were both over 40' tall and they had them down, chipped, and had everything cleaned up in less than 2 hours. These guys were awesome!!! Most professional tree service I have ever worked with.

We had multiple large trees that needed pruning and reshaping. Rent a monkey came out for free and consulted on every single tree. We took pictures and erased branches from the photos to get a sense of the before and after. The customer service was top notch. We couldn't be happier with this company. We've already called them again to do some more work.

10/10 recommend! These guys were great! Super professional, nice and great pricing! Scott was honest, upfront and super knowledgeable about the trees needing to be taken care of. If you're unsure, give these guys a call, they will help and give you the best advice they can. If we need tree work done in the future, we will definitely call Rent A Monkey again.

Scott came out graciously and estimated our project at no cost. He then sent out Matthew, Michael & Ryan, who were an amazing team cutting down a very large juniper tree. They also trimmed and pruned several other trees as well. They all were courteous, knowledgable, well skilled, and friendly. They cleaned up the areas immaculately also. I would highly recommend using this company for all your tree services, as I will in the future as well. Thank you gentlemen!

I called from one of their signs on the side of the road. I couldn't believe their customer service and professionalism. Rent-a-monkey went above and beyond expectations AND at the best rates. Others I called were weeks out. Rent-a-monkey was done in just days. I can't recommend them enough! As a realtor, we are always looking for good contractors. They are on speed dial now.

After having probloms with another tree removal company we gave Rent A Monkey tree service a call. These guys are real professionals they have reasonable pricing and do excellent work! They were on time and got the job done very quickly. There crew is very friendly and professional. These are the people you want to call if you want the job done right you can tell they take great pride in there work from the workers appearance to the quality equipment they use. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

Gregg, Kyle, and crew were fantastic! Their cost was very reasonable. They were able to schedule us quickly, and did the job efficiently in a few hours. Would rehire them and have recommended them to neighbors with no hesitation.

Had a large Atlas Cedar tree I needed removed, and the stump ground down. Saw their trucks in the neighborhood, so I called the number. They had someone come out and give me an estimate. Price was much less than other places I had asked to submit bids. Veteran owned too, so that is always nice. Set up a time, and they called and texted me to confirm it.
 
Appt day arrived. Crew was late, but the company called me that morning to tell me that they would be later than anticipated. Arrived at the new time, and I was amazed at the speed, safety, and cleanliness of the operation.
 
I think it was 10 minutes from cutting the tree down, to grinding the stump, to cleaning up any debris. Fast, efficient, and polite crew, and they cleaned up the job site really well. Highly recommend, and will use them again for some other trees I need to have looked at.

I asked Rent-a-Monkey to remove a tall, dying cottonwood with two runs of power and phone lines, a fence, and a deck under it, and they managed to drop that monster flawlessly. For two hours, they ran their mini-skid steer back and forth through a fence opening with 2" to spare on either side. They never hit the fence. It was like a perfect surgery. They were also on time and fast. They had an equipment break down, said they'd be back first thing in the morning, and--guess what--they were back first thing in the morning to finish the job, which they wrapped up quickly. They ground the stumps down thoroughly, and they cleaned up well. These guys are professionals. I highly recommend them.

The tree monkey guys did a great job removing a large tree in our driveway that was on an elevated area up against the fence. They took all safety precautions, removed the tree & cleaned up. They were very professional. I would highly recommended this company.

Rent a Monkey was the best. They were professional, kind, thoughtful, efficient and clean. We were very impressed with the quality of their work. Rent A Monkey is the real deal!! The entire process was quick and seamless. Gregg and the team took the job seriously and you could tell safety was their number one priority when removing a huge elm on the side of our house! We will only use them from now on! Since I can only leave one review, I will edit this one! We used Rent A Monkey for a second time and once again, SEAMLESS process. They fit us in a day after getting a great quote and did an exceptional job cleaning up the areas we talked about. They were friendly and responsive! Use them for all your tree needs!!

They brought a crew of 6, all the trucks to mulch & cleanup every single branch, and didn’t leave until I checked all the trimming was up to what I asked. They even took out 3 trees, and we’re all finished in 2 hours. Excellent experience and would recommend!

Excellent experience, Andrew gave us a fair and affordable quote. Greg and his crew arrived right on time and did an awesome job. First they asked to verify which trees we wanted removed then they got to work. They were quick, efficient and cleaned up the areas perfectly. The guys were polite and great to work with. I would recommend them anytime and will call them when we have tree needs in the future!

I will recommend this company ten times over. We have had a pine tree in our backyard that was in the worst spot for us and the surrounding neighbors. Scott came gave us a quote and they came today and cut it down. The guys were so nice and even cut the stumps down so we can make them into firewood.

They came and pruned all the deadwood out of two of my trees and cleaned up after. They did a really awesome job. I will be calling them again when I have other tree work that needs to be done. Great job guys.

These guys are great. Very detailed-oriented, especially during the cleanup. The didn't leave a mess. I highly recommend these guys.

Gregg, Andrew and the team have been very timely responding to all my inquires, making appointments and keeping them, even when I didn't respond quickly waiting on other estimates. They were very flexible, willing to work with my schedule. I wasn't able to be home at the time of my appointment. Gregg told me that, "I'd be happy to come back if you need anything else done." I surveyed the work done and found the very large and smaller limbs damaged from the September 8, 2020 catastrophic wind storm in Northern Utah and those overhanging the roof branches neatly trimmed. The driveway and roof were clean and my giant potted aloe, back driveway furniture as well as the 'dead sculpture artifacts' gently moved aside, which had been under where they were working. Altogether, I'd say a fine job was done. Thank you! The first two photos are the "before" shots and the second two are the "after" shots.

I never heard of this company. What a crazy name! Once they arrived though, we could tell they meant business and thoroughly knew what they were doing. They clarified why they were there, which tree needed work then set about their work. Even if you don't need any work done it's worth having them come by to put on their acrobatic show. Their team members performed like a well oiled machine, each man working at his specified job, integrating with the next. I was stunned they could remove our over 60 foot dead conifer tree in only 2 hours, bringing in all their equipment, setting up, cutting down the tree, grinding it up, policing the site and moving on. Unbelievable. Excellent value. Great people. Highly recommended.

My neighbors hired Rent A Monkey Tree Service. They showed up in force and had every piece of equipment you could ask for to do the job safely and efficiently. Very professional and friendly. They took out a very large tree with a crane and a short time later they had cleaned up so well that you couldn't even tell anything had happened. Very impressed.

I had a very large tree that needed removing because it posed a threat to my property, I had several bids, all were high and I wasn't impressed by the people, I then saw an ad for Rent-A-Monkey, looked up reviews, liked what I saw so I gave them a call.
 

They responded very quickly, Gregg showed up, assessed the situation, let me know exactly how they would proceed, and that everything would be clean when they left. Gregg gave me a great bid for the amount of work that needed to be done, so I scheduled right away.
 

Kyle and his crew showed up when promised and on time, and while I was showing Kyle the tree, the crew was already setting up, no standing around wasting time.
 

Kyle and his crew was amazing to watch, very organized and got the job done very quickly and cleaned up everything as promised.

Rent A Monkey is a well-run, organized, and professional business and should be your first call if you need tree service. From the beginning, getting a quote and scheduling, you could tell that their personnel knew what they were talking about. We had two trees to get trimmed away from the house and dead branches removed. I was expecting a crew of three or maybe four. They showed up slightly early, ready to work, with a crew of six, three trucks, and a chipper on site. It was evident that the entire crew was trained well as evidenced by constant communication and an eye for safety. Their cuts were precise and the cut pieces never hit the house once. We are extremely pleased and looking forward to using them in the future.

Had a huge 60' Cottonwood crash down in my backyard and made mess of everything. lots of wood and lumber to remove. I secured about 5 bids, and Rent A Monkey was the best priced. also, I appreciated that Gregg explained the process and answered a few questions. really did a great job. guys were awesome, quite the job to get it all done. thy were in and out in a few hours and we were super happy and impressed. give them a call they'll get it done for ya!

Gregg responded when I reached out during the holiday season and scheduled a time for his crew to remove trees and grind stumps. His crew of 6 workers were highly professional, hard working, knowledgable and very efficient. Nothing was damaged, although one tree was in tight quarters, and they cleaned up after the job. I have nothing but praise for them and will use them again.

I have used Rent A Monkey several times and each time has been a very positive experience. They are knowledgeable, professional and extremely efficient! Every member of the crew has a job to do and they do it well. I scheduled my appointments with Greg and he showed up when promised and was able to give me reasonable pricing on every service I requested. Rent A Monkey has worked at my home and at several commercial properties I own or manage and I have been completely satisfied each and every time. I have used other tree services in the past but I will give all my business to Rent A Monkey from now on.

Super happy about the whole experience with Rent A Monkey Tree Service. We needed tree removal and a hillside area cleared in a timely manner. The crew worked hard to get huge trees down with very little to no damage to surrounding trees. It was absolutely incredible. They were always polite and kept us informed of progress. There were a couple unforeseen things that couldn’t be taken out completely, it was completely understandable, but what impressed me the most was they took the time to walk through the area and explain why rather than leaving it. It spoke volumes for me. I would highly recommend this company. Very quick to respond and will work hard to get you scheduled as soon as possible. Turnaround time was great. Would definitely use this company again.

I called to get an appointment for a bid and had to leave a message. My call was returned within 30 minutes and a bid was scheduled for just a few days later. We accepted the bid and Gregg and his team showed up on time and ready to work the day of the appointment. The trees that were trimmed look great and they cleaned up and didn't leave a trace of being there. Everyone was very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this company!
